About
The Wilshire Farms Swim Team is a recreational summer team that was started in 2009 with 26 swimmers. Since then, we have grown to over 120 swimmers! Our mission is to provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn competitive swimming skills, practice good sportsmanship, and meet new friends.
The Stingrays are a member of the Southland Swim Association (SSA) swim league which consists of a blend of neighborhoods and private clubs.
The swim team season typically begins the last week in May with daily practices and weekly dual swim meets on Wednesday evenings starting the first week of June. The season concludes with a league-wide championship meet in mid July.
